While chilling around in #codeigniter on freenode, I was talking with Josh Manders aka killswitch about Sparks and he noticed how cumbersome it is, so he set out to learn Bash and started creating this script to make it easier to use Spark.
For a long time I’ve been using Jamie Rumbelow view presenters and after his presentation at Ciconf (London 2012) I noticed that a lot of people started using his code including my buddy David Wosnitza. After a while David started using the presenters in a even more clever way. He showed me his code and we agreed that it was time to create a library inspired in Jamie’s work.
This is my first screencast, I’ve done it without any script. I used it just to try out the screencast software and to actually see if I should start doing this or just stay with the written articles.
Please leave feedback on things to improve.
Need a placeholder? Like kittens? Use Codeigniter?
Well you’ve come to the right place sir. I have just the thing for you. Today edmundask did his own placeholder helper for Codeigniter. When I saw it I just had to make a placeholder with kittens. So I forked his repository and did it.
Hope you enjoy it.
A few weeks ago I was at #codeigniter @freenode.net as usual, and we were talking about Sublime Text 2 (because it's an awesome text editor and you should start using it right now) and we're talking about how there was no package for Codeigniter with Snippets made just for it.
So I started one and made a pull request on the package repository so my work could be appreciated / used by anyone using Sublime Text 2. Obviously like any other open source project my snippets package can be updated by anyone.
